The Coffee Shop Musical
Get ready for a one-of-a-kind night: catchy pop bangers, caffeine-fueled fun - and a way too relatable story about life as observed by AI!

After winning the award for Best Musical at Manchester Fringe 2022, The Coffee Shop Musical returns, with a brand new cast featuring Manchester's very own SIX star Harriet Caplan-Dean, and at iconic Northern Quarter cafe Takk.

Like leo&hyde's previous fringe hits The Marriage of Kim K and GUY, you'll go home humming, laughing - and questioning your entire existence.

So, what's it all about?

The year is 64217017 and the Artificial Intelligence beings of the future have an unhealthy obsession with a weird extinct species: humans.

An Attenborough-like AI is on a mission to uncover the truth about the long-extinct humans, their religious coffee habits, their love of solitude and their secret addiction to a substance called ‘internet’.

- "Wow what a show... the whole atmosphere was perfect"
- "Honestly recommend this so much. Such a touching and real show."
- "A high energy musical which will wholly entertain you from start to finish... it works superbly" - Number 9 Reviews
